Stade Francais scrum-half Agustin Pichot has mixed emotions going into the European Cup final – because the game is costing him a chance to play in Argentina’s historic game against the British & Irish Lions.

The Lions match comes just 24 hours after Stade Francais take on Toulouse in the cup final at Murrayfield.

"As soon as the semi-final match against Biarritz was over, I noticed that I would miss that match (against the Lions) and I got sad," Pichot said.

"I couldn’t believe it. On one hand, I have the possibility of playing the final of one of the most important tournaments in the world; but on the other one, I won’t play against one of the best teams on the planet."
