Australia head coach Eddie Jones will include a wide cross-section of talent in the Wallabies squad for next month’s four-Test European spring tour.

"It is very exciting for me because there will be a good mix of players," Jones said, shortly after returning from a week-long coaching clinic in Japan.

"There will be guys who have played a lot of Tests and about eight or nine young players with under three caps.

"Sides go in cycles and it means it is an exciting time. We have lost some senior players (through injury), we have rested some and there are some talented young players."

But despite the changes, both forced and deliberate, in the touring party which will be named on Tuesday, Jones has ruled out any radical difference to the Wallabies’ attacking approach to Test rugby.

"The style we play is embedded in us. It will be a matter of having to refine it with the players in the squad."

Jones said each of the four Tests, against France in Marseilles on November 5, England (Twickenham, November 12), Ireland (Lansdowne Road, Dublin, November 19) and Wales (Millennium Stadium, Cardiff, November 26), offered different challenges but with one common thread – home ground advantage to the Wallabies’ opponents.

"All four present unique challenges and they are all extremely difficult to beat on home soil," he said.
