Border Reivers welcome three Calcutta Cup heroes back to their side for the Celtic League clash with Glasgow Warriors at Firhill on Friday night.

Scrum-half Chris Cusiter and forwards Scott MacLeod and Ross Ford are all included in the starting XV.

All three played a part in the 18-12 win over England in the RBS 6 Nations Championship at Murrayfield.

Record Scotland cap holder Gregor Townsend will also return to the team after injury, while Samoa international Semo Sititi takes the place of Andy Rennick at number eight.

Borders head coach Steve Bates said: "We are very fortunate to welcome back Ross, Scott and Chris.

"Obviously Bruce Douglas has played a big part in the Six Nations so far, so he is having a rest, which is pretty sensible.

"With two of the local sides competing against each other, both with international players back from the Six Nations, will hopefully encourage people to come along and continue to support Scottish rugby."

Scotland international Scott Lawson returns to the Glasgow Warriors side for the clash.

The 24-year-old replaces Fergus Thomson, who drops to the bench where he will be joined by number eight John Beattie who returns after glandular fever.
