Lions Australia Tour 2013

Jonah Lomu will make his first start in a New Zealand provincial game in three years when North Harbour take on Manawatu at North Harbour Stadium.

The former New Zealand winger made his return to New Zealand’s domestic rugby off the bench against his former province Wellington last month.

And he has been promoted from the reserves after Blues winger Viliami Waqaseduadua was given compassionate leave to return to Fiji.

Manwatu’s new loan signing Tane Tuipulotu will start at centre for the Turbos, looking for their first win of the season.

Harbour will look to complete victory and secure second place in the Air New Zealand Cup’s Pool A.

Auckland claimed top spot with a win over their North Shore neighbours last week.
