Fly-half Ian Humphreys has agreed to sign a new contract with Leicester Tigers.

The 24-year-old has been rewarded for racking up more than 100 points since joining the Tigers from Belfast Harlequins in 2005.

Humphreys said: "It is still early in the season but as soon as the club said they were keen to keep me there was no hesitation on my behalf.

I am delighted to get a new contract and I am looking forward to the future."
