London Irish have signed Argentinian back Tomas de Vedia from Saracens on a two-year contract.

De Vedia, who has been named in the Argentina squad to face Ireland in June, was the leading try-scorer in his country’s domestic competition before joining Saracens last year.

The 24-year-old has scored seven tries in 18 appearances this season.

Exiles director of rugby Brian Smith said: "Tomas is a try-scoring winger who can also play at centre and full-back. He is a big guy who will take some stopping."
