Cueto reaches England half-century

England and British & Irish Lions wing Mark Cueto will have three major milestones in mind in Dublin this weekend – winning his 50th English cap, his first Grand Slam and beating Ireland for the first time.

The Sale Sharks star will become the eighth player to reach the 50 cap landmark for his country in the 2011 RBS 6 Nations, but he knows it will take a special effort to mark the occasion with a win.

It will be the fifth time the 31-year-old, who made his Test debut against Canada in 2004, has faced Ireland and his previous four attempts have all ended in failure – 2005, 2006, 2009 and 2010. He made one test appearance for the Lions in New Zealand in 2005.
