Lions Australia Tour 2013

Fans heading to Australia next month have been urged to check the validity of their match tickets if they have not been purchased from an official operator, who is part of the British & Irish Lions official travel programme.

The Australian Rugby Union (ARU) and British Lions Limited (BLL) have warned all fans travelling to Australia they risk being denied entry to matches if their tickets are found to have been purchased from unofficial sources that contravene the ARU’s ticketing terms.

Lions fans have been urged to avoid unofficial websites such as rugby-lions-tickets.com, who have not been officially appointed by The Lions or ARU to sell tickets are not connected or affiliated with The Lions and are not provided an allocation of tickets which means the source and validity of the tickets cannot be guaranteed.

The ARU has already begun to cancel tickets sold on the black market and fans who are concerned about the validity of their tickets or the sources they have been purchased from, are advised to contact Lions Rugby Travel on 0844 788 4070 or email info@lionstour.com for more information.
