Preliminary Qantas Wallabies Media Schedule (subject to change)

Lions Australia Tour 2013

This schedule is for media information and planning only. Media should note that all events are subject to change. A weekly schedule will be sent out at the start of each week, kicking off prior to the first pre-tour training camp in Sydney. The identities of the participants at each media session will be communicated in advance where possible. Excluding the top table Team announcement and post-game press conferences, all sessions, which will run for 45 minutes, will be coordinated in dedicated pod where possible. This is to accommodate the instant media, as well as those with daily (newspapers) and weekly (weekend newspapers) deadlines along with television. Be aware that the players are attending team meetings backing onto each session so their prompt departure will be required. Given the numbers expected to be in attendance, while one on one requests will be taken, they are not guaranteed. We will do our best to accommodate your needs. All feature requests should be advised as soon as possible in advance of scheduled events. If in doubt about any events, check with Qantas Wallabies Media Manager Matt McILraith. All times are approximate. Media are advised to arrive early. All times have been established, both to accommodate rugby-related team commitments, but also to ensure against a clash with British & Irish Lions media events, allowing media the option of attending both teams’ events. Training is open to all for the first 15 minutes only. Please arrive early. Any other photo/vision opportunities will be advised as soon as they are confirmed. The television

There will be a special one hour session for pre-requested interviews for the host television broadcasters at the team hotel on each Tuesday night of Test weeks. Please confirm requests to Matt NO later than lunchtime on Monday for this session.
