Zebo remains undaunted on the big stage

Simon Zebo insists he remains undaunted about the task at hand as his club side face defending European champions Toulon this weekend in the semi-finals.

Zebo was part of the Munster outfit that fell at the semi-final stage in this same competitions last year but since then the flying winger has been involved on a successful British & Irish Lions tour to Australia.

And now a year older and wiser at 24, Zebo insists he is relishing the big occasion once again.

"These kind of games I get more excited for so it won’t really affect me," he told the Irish Independent.

"Mentally, it wouldn't make me feel like I was going to a daunting place. It's exciting and I just want to get my hands on the ball even more so.

"We did have quite a young squad last year and as a whole we weren't used to going to the south of France and playing in such a crazy atmosphere as Clermont. No doubt it will be similar with the Toulon fan base there this year.

"We know what it's all about now and instead of starting from minute 20, we have to start at minute one."
