O’Connor eyes one more final for O’Driscoll

Leinster head coach Matt O’Connor is determined to ensure Saturday’s clash with Ulster is not the final time Brian O’Driscoll takes to the field.

O’Driscoll, who took part in his fourth British & Irish Lions tour last summer, will hang up his boots at the end of the season but Leinster will be looking to see off Ulster to seal a final against Glasgow Warriors.

Leinster have the benefit of home advantage but O’Connor was quick to guard against getting carried away by the occasion.

“The stakes are high and they know you don’t get another chance if you get it wrong,” he said.

“With that goes an element of pressure. The fact we’re at home and there’s the emotional attachment around Leo Cullen and Brian O’Driscoll, it’s a motivator as opposed to a pressurised situation for us. The guys are really excited about going out there on Saturday night in front of their home fans.”
