Hogg eyes historic Glasgow season

British & Irish Lions star Stuart Hogg believes Glasgow Warriors have what it takes to become the first Scottish side to win the PRO12.

Hogg, who featured five times during the British & Irish Lions’ tour of Australia last summer, saw his Glasgow side beaten in the PRO12 final by Leinster last season.

However, he believes the side that will take to the field this time around is improving all the time and have the tools to launch another assault on the title.

Hogg said: "Next season we've just got to do the same as last year. We targeted being the first Scottish team to win the league and I believe next season will be no different.

"Over the last three seasons we've been improving every week and we're in a good place just now.

"I believe the boys have been working incredibly hard during pre-season training and it all starts from there and hopefully we can go one better and win the title next season."
