No.8 Heaslip raring to return

British & Irish Lion Jamie Heaslip insists he is raring to go again after declaring himself fit to return to action.

Leinster No.8 Heaslip picked up a shoulder injury against Ulster during the first weekend of 2015, and hasn’t featured since.

However he looks set to play some part as Castres visit the Emerald Isle on Saturday for their European clash.

And Heaslip, who started the first two Tests against Australia in 2013, admits sitting on the sidelines is a new experience, and one he is not prepared to get used to.

"I'm good to go," Heaslip said. "I'm like Benjamin Button, getting younger.

“The wolverine blood kicked in. It's been slightly embarrassing, being injured, it's been so long!

"The medics were laughing at me because they had to go back so far to look at my last scan from when I was injured in 2010. It's all on one page, I'm a one page man."
