Gatland to unveil Lions squad for third Test

At 7AM New Zealand time on Thursday morning – so 8PM Wednesday BST – Gatland will pick the team to face New Zealand in the series decider.

The Lions will return to Eden Park – site of their first Test defeat – filled with confidence after their dramatic comeback win in the second Test in Wellington.

And after some much needed recuperation in Queenstown to kick off the final week on Tour, Gatland will reveal whether to stick or twist with the 23 that won in the Westpac Stadium last weekend.

Overall, the Lions have won five matches so far on their Tour of New Zealand, downing the NZ Provincial Barbarians, the Crusaders, the Maori All Blacks and the Chiefs in addition to their Test victory in Wellington.

After the team announcement, Gatland and his captain for the clash will face the media on Thursday before training, then there is Friday’s Captain’s Run at Eden Park before the crunch clash on Saturday.

To follow the team announcement live, go to our Live Blog on the site, while the side will also be unveiled on FacebookTwitterInstagram and via email.
