Lions Ticket Ballot FAQs

When does the ballot close?

Applications for the Ticket Ballot close at 1700 on 16 September 2020.

Is there an age limit or other restriction for applicants?

Applicants need to be at least 18 years old, a permanent resident of the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland or any other country in the EEA/European Union.

If I win and am unable to go, can I sell, transfer or give away my tickets?

You can’t sell, transfer or give away your tickets.

They may not be transferred, used, combined with, or incorporated as part of any merchandise, hospitality, food, beverage, entertainment, accommodation, leisure or travel service or travel package or service. This clause does not affect the Lions Rugby Travel Ticket Ballot Promise.

Prior to their being printed and dispatched and at the discretion of Lions, you can change the details of your Guest once by emailing ballot@lionstour.com.

How many tickets can I apply for?

You can submit a request for up to two tickets per Test. Each applicant can win the opportunity to buy a maximum of two tickets.

When will I know if I’ve been successful or not?

Successful applicants will receive their confirmation no later than 16 October 2020. If your Ballot request is unsuccessful, you will be informed no later than 20 November 2020 via an email sent to the address you used when you applied.
