To support the launch of the new British & Irish Lions jersey, Vodafone has developed a digital first, which enables fans to create their very own ‘Digital Lion’ – a fully animated virtual avatar of themselves, in the new jersey and brought to life through augmented reality.
Fans only need to download the Official British & Irish Lions App, where they will have access to a range of unique content and activities from creating their own avatar and visualising them in their living room, to playing at coach using the XV Selector.
This is only the start. Thanks to Vodafone and the Lions, the excitement is only going to build as additional interactive games and exclusive content will be released through the App as we get ever closer to The Lions Series™.
And whether fans choose to enjoy the Series at home or away, Vodafone will be there to enable them to immerse themselves as never before in the action. Vodafone will be creating innovative fan experiences through experiential activations both at home and in South Africa.
