Gibbes out for six weeks

Chiefs captain Jono Gibbes will be out for at least six weeks after a hamstring injury.

The veteran Waikato and New Zealand lock sustained the tear in the 39-19 defeat to the Hurricanes in Wellington on Friday.

Initial medical advice has diagnosed Gibbes for a mid-April return, without complications.
