The best of Lions content this month

The countdown to the 2025 Lions Tour to Australia is well and truly on following the official fixture announcement released in July.

And now you can now enjoy some of the best bits of content from Lions legends to start your week!

Lions Legends: Geoff Parling

“I had to chat to my wife because our daughter May was due just before the first test, she was very supportive for me to go and it was the only time in my career I felt I made a genuine sacrifice for rugby.”

48 hours after celebrating in the changing room with the squad and Daniel Craig in Sydney, Geoff Parling was back in the UK holding his newborn daughter for the first time. Read more.

Can you guess the player?

An impressive Trophy cabinet from a remarkable career but can you name the player?

Moments that made them: Shane Williams

“I swore when I was watching the first Test from the stand that I needed to get back into the squad and try to make a difference.”

Shane Williams enjoyed a thrilling journey in a Wales shirt and there were no shortage of twists and turns during his British and Irish Lions career either.

Read more from Shane on the moments that made him during his Lions Tours in 2005 and 2009 as well as surprise comeback appearance in 2013.

Exclusive interview with Jamie Roberts

In case you missed it, watch back as we sat down with Jamie Roberts for an exclusive interview to look back on the epic series win in 2013 and the highlights of his incredible career.

Campese looks back on that error

“It’s one of those moments you think about a lot but if I had my time again, I would still do the same thing.”

The 1989 Tour of Australia was the only time in history that a Lions squad has gone 1-0 down and come back to win a Test series. Unfortunately for Wallabies legend David Campese the Tour will be remembered for an error that led to a crucial Ieuan Evans try.

Read more from Campese on that moment and how he reflects on it now.

Who would win?

An epic Test. Two incredible Lions teams. Two different eras. Who would come out on top?
