Scotland international Simon Taylor has undergone a successful operation on his left knee.

The Edinburgh Gunners number eight had a reconstruction of his medial ligament after sustaining the injury during the Celtic League clash with Connacht earlier this month.

The 26-year-old is now set for recuperation before starting a recovery programme within the next week at Murrayfield.
