Alan Morley was something of a surprise pick for the undefeated 1974 Tour to South Africa as his selection came despite not featuring for England that year.
But the former wing does hold the world record for the number of tries scored in first class rugby at 479, with 384 of those coming for Bristol between 1968 and 1986.
Morley featured in two Lions Tour matches against Natal and African XV, the second of which he scored in.
He earned seven caps for England and marked his debut against South Africa in 1972 with a crucial second-half try as his side ran out 18-9 winners.
Morley was also the scorer of a try which denied Scotland the Triple Crown, as he was adjudged to have touched down just before fellow Lion Andy Irvine.
