Andrew Porter made up for lost time during the 2025 Tour of Australia.

The prop missed out on the 2021 Tour to South Africa with a toe injury he picked up while playing for Leinster just a week before the squad were due to meet up.

The Dubliner has put that disappointment behind him against the Wallabies, starting two Tests and coming off the bench in the other as the Lions claimed a 2-1 series win. He also scored a try in the win over Queensland Reds.

Porter has played an integral role in Ireland’s front row as a prop under Andy Farrell – the 2025 Lions Head Coach on secondment from Ireland.

He has won two Guinness Six Nations Grand Slams – in 2018 and 2023 – and been part of three Six Nations triumphs in total. He has also helped his national side reach the summit of the world rankings on multiple occasions.

The 29-year-old has spent his entire club-career with Leinster, for whom he made his debut against Benetton Treviso in 2016. He won four consecutive league titles between 2018 and 2021 and came off the bench during the 2018 European Champions Cup final as Leinster beat Racing 92 15-12 in Bilbao.
