Andy Reed is a giant second row who played rugby for Scotland between 1993 and 1999 – he featured on 18 occasions for his country during a stop-start international career.
He enjoyed a successful club career though, playing for Bodmin, Camborne, before moving to the English Premiership, where he played for Bath and also Wasps, featuring 108 times for the team between 1996 and 2001.
Reed, who went on to become a plumber in Cornwall, earned selection for The 1993 British & Lions Tour to New Zealand after a string of impressive showings at club level.
He played in the first Test match against the All Blacks in Christchurch alongside Englishman Martin Bayfield.
He also played in the Tour games against North Auckland, Canterbury, Southland, where he scored his sole Lions try, Hawkes Bay and also Waikato.
