Angus Cameron’s sole Lions Tour came in 1955 to South Africa and the Scot was named vice captain.
Equally capable at full-back and fly-half, the Cameron wore the No 15 jersey for the first two Tests against the Springboks before injury ruled him out of the third and fourth and the series was drawn 2-2.
Overall Cameron made nine appearances on the Tour, kicking 44 points from the tee including four crucial conversions in the opening Test victory against the Boks.
Cameron’s Scotland career ended in 1956 – he won 17 caps overall while his brother Donald was also a Scotland international.
