Arthur Blakiston played in 13 matches for the Lions during the 1924 Tour of South Africa, including all four Tests against the Springboks.
Blakiston played his club rugby for Northampton, Liverpool, Blackheath and the Barbarians, winning 12 caps for England.
A farmer by trade, Blakiston served as an officer during World War One for the Royal Field Artillery and was awarded the Military Cross for conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty.
