The versatility of Austin Healey saw him take in two Lions Tours, firstly on the successful Tour to South Africa in 1997 and then to Australia in 2001.
The Leicester Tigers back, who won back-to-back European Cups with his club, made seven appearances on the 1997 Tour, coming off the bench in the second and third Tests.
His only try of the Tour came against the Golden Lions but Healey would score four in just six games during the 2001 Tour to Australia.
Healey was one of 11 try scorers in the 2001 Lions’ opening game against Western Australia before a further score against NSW Southern Districts.
But it was Healey’s two tries in the final midweek game against Super Rugby side ACT Brumbies that is most memorable including a last-gasp effort to round of 12 phases to help secure an amazing comeback win.
