Ben Earl played an important part of The British & Irish Lions victory over Australia in 2025, featuring off the bench in two of the three Tests.
The England back-rower was also an impressive performer in the warm-up games, racking up impressive numbers throughout and being named Player of the Match against the AUNZ Invitational XV.
The 27-year-old has made 41 appearances for his country since making his debut in the 2020 Six Nations against Scotland – going on to win the title that year also.
The flanker, who can also play at No.8, was a crucial part of Steve Borthwick’s side that reached the 2023 World Cup semi-final, narrowly losing to eventual champions South Africa.
He scored his first international try in the third-place play-off win over Argentina and since the tournament in France, Earl has continued to kick on, with his career going from strength to strength.
During the 2024 Six Nations, he scored two tries and made a competition-high 73 carries, earning himself a place in the Team of the Championship, a nomination for Player of the Championship and later being voted England Men's Player of the Year.
On the domestic front, the Saracens back rower has won three Premiership titles with the London-based side and, whilst on loan at Bristol Bears during the 20/21 season, won the Challenge Cup.
Earl won the 21/22 Premiership Rugby Player of the Season award, with a highlight being the hat-trick he scored in the Play-Off semi-final win over Harlequins.
He has also been named in the Premiership Team of the Year four times and certainly made his mark in Australia.
Earl underlined his versatility during the 2025 Six Nations, featuring in the centres in the second half of wins over Italy and Wales.
