A Coventry great, Bert Godwin made 250 appearances for the club, and made his England debut against France in 1959.
A member of the much-feared Coventry front row, Godwin won 11 international caps in total, and in 1962, was called up to the Lions squad for their Tour to South Africa after Sam Hodgson broke a leg in the opening game.
While he didn’t appear in any of the Test matches against the Springboks, Godwin played nine times in the famous red jersey.
