Billy ‘Stoker’ Williams won 22 caps for Wales between 1951 and 1956 and was selected for the Lions Tour to South Africa in 1955.
The prop made 17 appearances in total on that Tour, including all four Tests as the series was drawn 2-2.
He formed an all-Welsh front row with Bryn Meredith and Courtenay Meredith – the last time that was seen for the Lions until 2009 when Gethin Jenkins, Adam Jones and Matthew Rees packed down, also against South Africa.
