A year after making his international debut for Wales, second row Bob Norster was selected to travel with the Lions to New Zealand in 1983.
Norster played in three warm-up games earning his place in the Test side but after starting the first two games against the All Blacks, injury forced him off the rest of the Tour.
He was again picked by the Lions six years later to tour Australia, playing in the first Test against the Wallabies, while also scoring his only try for the famous side in the warm-up game against New South Wales.
Over an eight-year international career Norster won 34 caps for Wales in addition to his three Lions caps.
