South African-born Brian Black made ten appearances for England during the early 1930s where he scored two tries, six conversions and four penalties.
Despite playing lock forward, his kicking prowess was also evident on the 1930 Lions Tour to Australia and New Zealand where he featured in all five Tests.
He successfully kicked two conversions in his Test jersey and across the five-month Tour scored 77 points in the 20 games he featured for the Lions.
