Brian Moore was an international hooker who featured for England on 64 occasions during a top-flight career that spanned eight years.
He started his club career at Nottingham, before going on to play for Harlequins and then latterly Richmond in the professional era.
His performances for club and country saw him selected for both The 1989 and 1993 British & Irish Lions Tours to Australia and New Zealand.
He featured in all three Test matches Down Under in 1989 and the second and third Tests against the All Blacks four years later.
Moore played in three World Cups for England, including his appearance in the final in 1991 as his side narrowly lost out in the final against Australia at Twickenham.
He was an instrumental cog in an England side skippered by Will Carling that won Grand Slam titles in 1991, 1992 and 1995.
Moore is a fully qualified referee and now works in the media, both broadcast and written.
