Brian Price featured four times for The British & Irish Lions on their Tour of Australia and New Zealand in 1966.

The Lions won their two Tests against Australia, taking the first 11-8 before a memorable 31-0 win in Sydney.

The Welshman first earned international honours in 1961, winning 32 caps for his country between then and 1969.

He was selected for Wales’ first overseas tour in 1964 where they played their first match outside of Europe and first in the southern hemisphere, beating East Africa 26-8 in Nairobi, Kenya.

The lock also helped Wales to the Triple Crown in 1965 and in 1969, both as captain, before he retired later that year.
