Clement Simpson was an English forward who made his only Test appearance on the 1891 Lions Tour to South Africa.
A Cambridge University Blue in 1890, he was selected as part of Bill Maclagan’s touring team a year later, making ten appearances on the Tour.
His only Test cap came in the first Test in Port Elizabeth, which the Lions won 4-0. The Lions returned home unbeaten on the Tour, one of just two Lions teams to achieve this feat.
After returning to British shores, Simpson worked as a solicitor.
