Clive Rees was the youngest member of the squad to be selected to represent the British & Irish Lions on their Tour to South Africa in 1974.
Rees had made his Welsh debut against Ireland at Lansdowne Road earlier that year after periods with Loughborough Students, Llanelli and London Welsh.
The winger went on to earn 13 caps for Wales and during the Lions’ unbeaten Tour of South Africa he scored three tries in the six games he featured in.
He played odd games for Wales against Australia in December 1975 and New Zealand in November 1978 before earning a more regular position in the squad during the early 1980s.
