Dai Parker scored 45 points in 17 appearances for the Lions on the 1930 Tour of Australia and New Zealand.
On that Tour he played in five Tests, and is the only hooker to have scored a penalty for the Lions in a Test to date.
Parker played alongside brother Tom as an amateur for Swansea and also turned out for Llansamlet. He was Swansea's top scorer for five consecutive seasons between 1925/26 and 1929/30 and captained the club during the 1927/28 campaign.
He won ten caps for Wales in six years, making his debut against Ireland in the 1924 Five Nations. The Welsh suffered a narrow loss but Parker did enough to retain his place for their next match against France where victory ended a losing run of four games.
Those performances ensured Parker was an ever-present at the 1925 Five Nations, but he missed the next three tournaments. Four years later he won his final cap for Wales in a draw with England at Arms Park in the opening game of the 1930 Five Nations.
