English half-back Frank Hulme toured with the Lions in 1904 to Australia and New Zealand.
Stuck behind Percy Bush and Tommy Vile for the half-back positions, Hulme only appeared six times in all for the tourists.
The Birkenhead RFC playmaker did appear in the first Test against Australia as the Lions won that series 3-0 and his sole try came in a mid-week game against Metropolitan Union.
