Grahame Budge made his international debut for Scotland in 1950, the same year in which he first pulled on the famous red jersey of the Lions for their Tour to Australia and New Zealand.
During the team’s time in the southern hemisphere, prop Budge made 14 appearances for the Lions, including in one Test match against the All Blacks.
Budge’s granddaughter Alison Christie is a former Scotland women’s international, playing 61 times for her country between 1994 and 2004.
