Welsh centre Harry Bowcott was one of the stars of the 1930 Tour to New Zealand and Australia.
He featured in 20 matches in all, including the four Test matches against the All Blacks, and the only meeting with Australia, scoring eight tries.
Bowcott began his club career with home-town team Cardiff, but upon moving to London to become a civil servant joined London Welsh and later Wasps.
He was also a Welsh selector from 1963 to 1974 and in 1968 was assistant manager on the Wales tour to Argentina.
Bowcott was president of the Welsh Rugby Union for the 1974/75 season. He died in December 2004, aged 97, and had been the oldest surviving Lions Test player.
