Second row Henry ‘Harry’ Rew made 15 appearances for the Lions on their 1930 Tour of New Zealand and Australia.

After featuring in the Tour-opening win over Wanganui, Englishman Rew went on to play in each of the five Tests on the near five-month trip.

Rew managed to score his first points in a Lions shirt during his final game of the Tour, notching two tries in the 71-3 win over Western Australia.

The ten-cap England international died just ten years later, while serving with the Royal Tank Regiment at Nibeiwa Fort, Egypt.
