English flanker Harry Wilkinson went on The British & Irish Lions Tour to Australia and New Zealand in 1930.
The Halifax RUFC player impressed in the Tour matches, scoring a remarkable 14 tries in his 12 games but never cracked the Test side.
His highlights included a hat-trick against Taranaki and an appearance in the famous jersey against an Australia XV.
Son of fellow England international Harry Wilkinson – Wilkinson junior finished his rugby career with four England caps. He died on October 1 1988 at the age of 85.
