Though the first ‘official’ British & Irish Lions Tour to South Africa took place in 1910, there was also a Lions side that toured Argentina in 1910.
Henry John Fraser was part of the side that left Argentina with a perfect record of six wins from six.
After a narrow win 17-13 over Olimpicos, effectively Argentina’s ‘A’ side, Fraser played a crucial role as they turned in a series of huge wins, including a 28-3 win against the national side at the Polo Ground of Flores.
