An impressive Championships for Irishman James McVicker saw him take a place in the 1924 British & Irish Lions Tour to South Africa, a series which saw him feature 13 times.
The lock was also to get on the scoresheet against Eastern Province Kings, but his achievements will undoubtedly be highlighted in playing three of the four Test matches, including the 3-3 draw in Port Elizabeth.
McVicker represented his country 20 times in all, with his last Test appearance coming six years after his stint in the famous Lions jersey, being on the successful side during more than half those games.
Born in Ballymoney, McVicker also died in the Northern Irish town, aged 89 in 1985.
