John Devereux toured with the Lions in 1989 when the squad travelled to Australia.
The Welshman, who was playing his club rugby at the time for Bridgend, appeared in five matches during the Tour but did not break into the Test side that became the only Lions team ever to come from 1-0 down to win a series.
He scored two tries, including the fiftieth, and last, Lions try of the Tour during their 19-15 win over the ANZAC XV.
Centre Devereux also applied his talents to rugby league and was selected to go on the 1992 Great Britain Lions Tour of Australia and New Zealand.
