John Jeffrey scored four tries on his only Tour with the Lions in 1989, the first time in 90 years that Australia would be sole hosts.
Jeffrey feature in five of the nine games on the Tour, scoring twice against Australia B and adding two more against New South Wales Country.
The Scottish flanker earned 40 caps for his country, which at the time made him Scotland’s most capped flanker, and scored 11 tries.
His international career lasted seven years between 1984 and 1991 and included appearances at two Rugby World Cups.
Notable for his thick blonde hair, Jeffrey was also a key contributor to Scotland's 1990 Grand Slam victory, which they clinched with a win over England at Murrayfield.
After retirement he has worked in a number of different roles, including being in charge of match official appointments for international rugby.
