Jonny Wilkinson was a key member of the 2001 and 2005 Tours, making nine appearances in total for the Lions and scoring 116 points.

He played all three Tests against Australia in 2001 and against the All Blacks four years later - scoring 67 points.

Regarded as one of the greatest fly-halves of all-time, Wilkinson will always be remembered for his winning drop goal in extra-time of the 2003 World Cup final. He scored 1,179 points in his 91 England appearances between 1998 and 2011.

He played his club rugby union for Toulon - winning the Heineken Cup twice and Top 14 once - following twelve seasons in the English Premiership with the Newcastle Falcons, with whom he won the Premiership in 1999.

He became the youngest ever rugby union player to receive a New Year's Honour with an MBE, elevated to OBE in 2004.

He was named the BBC Sports Personality of the Year and IRB International Player of the Year in 2003.
