Welsh centre Ken Jones made his international debut in 1962 against England at Twickenham and just three international games later was called up for the Lions Tour to South Africa.

Jones played in three Tests against the Springboks, scoring the only try in the 3-3 draw at Ellis Park and playing in the second and third Test defeats.

The centre was selected to tour with the Lions again in 1966 and scored two further Test tries in the 31-0 second Test victory over Australia, a series the Lions won 2-0.

His sixth and final Lions Test cap came against New Zealand in the 16-12 defeat in the first Test of that 1966 Tour.
