Mark Cueto was called up to the Tour of New Zealand in 2005 for his one Test appearance following an injury to Iain Balshaw.

The former Sale Sharks player was on the standby list initially but took his chance against Bay of Plenty and Manawatu in the midweek games, scoring three tries.

Impressive displays against Southland and Auckland then led to Sir Clive Woodward awarding the winger with his one and only Test cap in the third and final match against New Zealand.

The prolific winger – who won 55 caps for England - will famously be remembered for scoring the try that wasn’t awarded in the 2007 World Cup final defeat to South Africa.

Cueto was also awarded with an MBE by the Duke of Cambridge for his services to rugby.
