Mike Hall was part of the victorious 1989 Tour in Australia and the former Wales captain started in the first Test defeat at centre.
Hall arrived on the Tour late due to him sitting his final exams at Cambridge University and went on to feature in six matches – scoring two tries against New South Wales B and one against the Brumbies.
Mike Hall and his centre partner Brendan Mullin from the first Test were replaced by Jeremy Guscott and Scott Hastings for the second and third Tests as the Lions secured a famous series victory.
He made his international debut in 1988 and went on to pick up 42 caps, as well as leading his country at the 1995 World Cup.
After his rugby career had finished, Hall qualified as a surveyor and was a board member at Cardiff City Football Club.
