London Welsh lock Mike Roberts made his international debut against England in Cardiff in January 1971 and was called up to the Lions Tour of the same year.
Born in St Asaph, North Wales, Roberts made nine starts and two replacement appearances for the Lions in New Zealand but couldn’t force his way into the Test squad.
For England, he earned eight caps and scored a single try prior to his final international game, also in Cardiff against England, in 1979.
