Twenty years after his first trip to Lansdowne Road to see Ireland take on the All Blacks, Ollie Campbell was touring the country with The 1983 British & Irish Lions squad.
Campbell scored three penalties and a drop goal on his Test debut against New Zealand in Christchurch and added another penalty in the final Test. His points tally for the tour reached 124.
Three years earlier, Campbell had been part of the Lions squad which had travelled to South Africa. The Irish fly-half came off the bench in the second Test and went on to kick 11 points during the final two Tests.
Campbell won 22 caps for Ireland before a chronic hamstring injury ended his career prematurely.
